Hi there!
So (as I'm sure you can tell by my username) I am a huge Avatar Fan as well. For you other fans out there, I have finished a Retrospective Tribute video. I wanted to go with something classy and amazing like the show deserves (unlike battle scenes set to Linkin Park or an equivalent), so I set the video to Time by Hans Zimmer
So, before you read the text below (which is most of the video description), watch my film! If you are a ATLA fan like myself (hopefully) you will really enjoy it!
Here's some of the description from the video:
This is my first and, probably last AMV. I was sick and tired of seeing all of these "tribute videos" that I just view as shit. Let's be honest: if you search "Avatar The Last Airbender Video" anywhere on the Internet, what is the first thing that comes up? Thousands upon thousands of "Tribute videos" of just the battle scenes set to Linkin Park, 30 Seconds to Mars, or any other bands that thirteen year olds use to say that the music they listen to is intense and hardcore. Hell, if you search "Avatar AMV" here on Youtube, half of the top results are clips with bands like Linkin Park, Papa Roach, among others! Now, I'm not saying that they are all bad. No offense to anyone who has made the type of video like I described above. Some are very well executed and I praise you for it, but that type of video is overdone and driven into the fucking ground (I have been listening to music like Linkin Park for years among other Genres, but even I am getting tired of listening to In The End or Numb for the trillionth time in an AMV).
Avatar deserved more than shit like that. So I made what I thought a good AMV should be (not to toot my own horn). Also, I wanted to try out my new DVD Ripper. Be gentle, I used Windows Movie Maker. I know some of the voices in the background are screwed up and not perfect, but hey, I tried my best. I have to say that I am very proud of the end result .
Shout out to r/TheLastAirbender, one of my favorite places for Avatar related shenanigans.
